We have tried to make placing an order a simple process. We only currently deliver to locations within the United Kingdom, due to time restrictions on posting fresh produce. We send all our products by overnight delivery, packed in specially designed cool packs so that you get your meat as fresh as possible.

Prices are shown on each of the pages of products. These may be subject to change without notice.

We recommend that you allow 180g per person of boned meat and 225g per person of bone-in meat.

There is a minimum total order weight of 7Kg and a fixed delivery charge of £5.00 per order unless you are collecting from the shop, in which case there is no minimum weight for your order and no delivery charge.

Deliveries within a ten mile radius of the shop will be made by our own van. Deliveries outside this radius will be posted.

Orders over £100 (including delivery) will receive a voucher to refund the delivery charge, redeemable against your next order.


To place an order

Follow these instructions and you should find placing an order very easy.
  • View the pages showing the available meats and poultry and decide what you want to buy. Don't forget the Special Offers page.

  • Type the weight (in kilogrammes) into the "weight required" field next to the description of the product you want, and click the "Add to shopping basket" button.

  • You will be taken to the shopping basket page so that you can check your order as you complete it. You can check your order at any time by clicking on the View shopping basket button in the main menu on the right.

  • Once you are happy with your order, click on the button at the bottom of the "Shopping Basket" page and enter your details in the form on the next page.

  • Click on the "Send your order" button to e-mail your order to us. You will be sent a copy e-mail for your records.

If the product you want is not listed on these pages, please call us on 01483 417 557 and we will try and add it to your order.


What happens next?

Due to the nature of our fresh food business, we do not offer an on-line payment option.

Once we receive your order, we will process it as soon as possible by preparing the cuts of meat you requested. This may take a few days, depending on the time of the week. This will enable us to get an accurate weight for each item (we always try to be within 5% of the requested weight).

We will then contact you on the telephone number you give us on the order e-mail and tell you the final price. You then give us your credit card details (Visa, Mastercard, Switch) and we ship your package that day. You should receive your meat, fresh, the next day.

In the unlikely event that we need to wait for the meat to be in the correct condition for you, or we havn't got the correct stock to fulfil part of your order, we will call you before making up any other part of the order to let you choose alternatives.


Cancelling an order

We do not charge for orders cancelled within one hour of receiving your Order Form. After this time we charge a handling fee.
